I heard about this site from a friend on Facebook a while back. I'm originally from San Diego, but now live in Portland, Oregon. (Hey SDDarkman, I know you.. :p)
I've been a lover and member (for lack of a better word) of dark and vintage-inspired subcultures for many years. I'm 40, and I was raised on and still love classic film, classic cars, and vintage music. I collect vintage radio shows. My personal aesthetic is probably best described as early-mid-20th century gal in mourning.
I prefer to dress 40s or 50s, and I also love the Victorian and Jazz Eras.
I've not been in Portland long, and I'm a single mama so there's a lot I haven't seen. Happy to find this forum and site to peruse to get my fill of things 'abilly until I can get out and immerse myself in person.
It's been ages since I saw a live band, or went to a car show. But hopefully that will change soon.
